Fee Schedule Rate:

Meter Readings will occur around the 20th of the selected months depending upon weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances.

This reading will be subtracted from the last meter read to obtain the number of gallons used.  Accounting for the two months in between where the flat rate of $55 was billed, 4,000 gallons is subtracted.  The remaining amount is then calculated with the fee schedule.

Example:

October Read     3758952     January Read       3772952                            Click below for

                                                                                                                                                     Schedule

3772952 - 3758952 = 14000 gallons

14000 - 4000 = 10000 gallons (Fee Schedule amount)

10000 = $175.00

CROSS-CONNECTION CONTROL SURVEY

The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) requires that all water systems in the State of Illinois have an effective Cross-Connection Control Program to protect our customers and the integrity of our water system.  Cross-connections (a physical connection between a possible source of contamination and the plumbing system) are a serious concern and can contaminate the water system through backflow or back-siphonage.  IEPA regulations require customers of public water supplies regularly inspect (survey) their premise plumbing systems for potential cross-connections to ensure the water supply is properly protected against contamination.  It is the customers responsibility to ensure that unprotected cross-connections are not created within their premise plumbing and that required backflow prevention assemblies for protected cross-connections are maintained in operable condition, tested/certified annually and test records filed with the water system.

All water customers are required to complete this survey.  There is no penalties or fines for not completing the survey, however, we encourage everyone to complete the survey to assist the Village in compiling accurate records so we can comply with IEPA cross-connection regulations.  we ask and thank you for your cooperation with this program.

Submit your completed form with your water payment or email it to villageoffieldon@yahoo.com.

The IEPA regulations state that backflow preventers be installed on certain water-supplied systems.  Two such systems include:  lawn sprinkler and fire suppression systems.  The backflow preventers are required to be tested and certified annually by a licensed Cross Connection Control Device Inspector (CCCDI).
