Nestled in the heart of Jersey County, Illinois, our village is a delightful farming haven near the beautiful Illinois and Mississippi Rivers. We take immense pride in Fieldon and can't wait for you to experience our warm hospitality and the friendly atmosphere that makes our village truly special!

A reminder of hidden pipe damage as temperatures fall.

As the ground thaws, frozen pipes often burst because the expanding ice inside cracks them. The damage is only revealed when the ice melts and the water escapes.​
​
The Village owns all the pipes up to and including the water meter. Repairing broken pipes on the customer (residents) side of the meter is the property owner's responsibility. If you find a leak, notify the Village promptly to shut off the main water valve.
